No… I’ve never been so lucky..the simple way to tackle all drinking is to do what they have done in Ireland..hike the prices…examples ; Guinness London ?2.90, Dublin between E5 and E6, Carlsberg London ?2.90, Dublin E5.50-6.65, bottled beer say Miller Lite London ?3, Dublin E5,50-E6.50 and the list goes on. drinking in Ireland is now basically only affordable at weekends or on dole day..happy hours, promotions, cheap drink are all banned…..I was in Wetherspoons in Shepherds Bush London at the weekend and they were selling all Pints at ?1,49…unbelievable..and the place was packed….and there wasn’t a TV in the place……

This is typical of the government. They spend money on advert telling you to drink in moderation, yet allow all night drinking. They advise that gambling is out of control, yet allow bingo adverts to mar TV viewing and glamorise gambling.

As students there were plenty of drinks promotions such as ?1 pints/large wines and doubles, buy one get one free etc at both the uni bars and at the ones in town. I never specifically went to an All You Can Offer bar but I have seen them. They generally look like a last ditch attempt to gain custom before going insolvent; rough, unkempt and dirty.

To add to the answer above – actually drinks were included on our honeymoon cruise so yes I have been on an all drinks included venture. Interestingly when we went on another cruise a year later with the same cruise liner it had withdrawn the drinks package.

No way should licensing hours be restricted – we live in a 24 hour 7 day culture. If I want a beer at 6am in the morning after coming off a night shift why shouldn’t I be able to get one. If I want a glass of wine at 10am whilst reading the Sunday newspapers why shouldn’t I get one. If a business wants to offer me all I can drink promotion for ?10 why shouldn’t I be able to take part in it. After all Pizza Hut do something similar.

As long as I behave myself then I am hurting no one – it is when I step over the line and let my behaviour effect others that others should have a problem. And that is where the law needs toughening up on – using existing legislation to punish people who break the law, not punish the millions of people who dont abuse booze whatever time of day they drink it.

Nope. That would be not only stupid on behalf of the pub owners (loss of money because of binge drinkers) but stupid for anyone to drink all they can considering how dangerous huge amounts of alcohol is. Limiting the number of establishments wouldn’t help anyone. It would put some pub owners out of business and result in more people drinking and driving because the bar they used to walk to closed because of limited licenses.

she visions things before it happens like my neice was pregnant and no one in the family knew, but my daughter kept saying to me "mom leannes pregnant, mom i have a funny feeling leanne is pregnant an its going to be a girl with wavy hair" and she is! and when she was younger my dad died (he just randomly woke up dead) and she kept saying to me "mommy mommy, grandpa is going to die tomorrow morning i know it mommy he seems fine now but its going to be unexpected" and i ignored her and then he died and then when she was about 6 anytime before my sister rang she would say "aunts gonna ring you in 2 minutes" and then she rang……….
and she tells me that she would lay in bed the night before and vision things and she says she will vision someone saying something and then next day it would happen!!! and she predicts whats gonna happen the next day and the weather and stuff!!! like before my mom died she was in hospital and we were waiting for a call for 2 days for news on my mom and randomly 12:30pm my daughter sat there playing with her hands starring at the floor and said "mom shes dead and the phone is going to ring now there going to tell you" and the phone rang and the nurse had told me my mom passed away!!!!!! she tells me she trys to keep it from me in case she scares me. like with her turtle also, her turtle was fine and one night she was crying in bed and she said mom nico is going to die and i said don’t be ridiculous his fine, and she kissed him and said i love you im going to miss you and went to bed, 3 hours later she woke up to check and he was dead.
